Larry Correia’s Monster Hunter Vendetta

Larry Correia has done it again. This page turner ruined my weekend. Well, my Friday into Saturday anyway. Once I really got rolling with it, I could not put the book down.

(Just in case you are wondering, Yes, the electronic ARC version is already available @ WebScription.net for $15)

Monster Hunter Vendetta

This story kept the same pace and had the same overall quality as Monster Hunter International, and did not disappoint. I was also pleased not to have to read too much recap filler. The main character Z is once again called upon to save the world. Can he make it? Does he have what it takes this time around?

Larry Correia’s love for, and knowledge of guns shows in this book, and give it an authentic feel for the action scenes. The monsters are well thought out, and the bad guys are really tough, and the missions seemingly¬†impossible¬†to beat.

There are so many twists and turns in this story that it will keep you guessing right up until the end. I would recommend reading MHI first in case you are new to the series, and keep the next few days open.

On a side note, Rather than a movie, I would love to see Shotime pick Monster Hunters up as their answer to the HBO series True Blood.
