I ran into a small, but annoying problem when I tried to add in a PayPal button generated by the S2Member plugin into the profile area of the Simple-Press forum on a WordPress site.
The problem wasn’t adding the button into the Simple-Press profile page using an API hook, but rather having the button show up in the center of the form instead of left justified. This may be cause by a conflict with the theme that was used, but I’m not sure, and didn’t have any time to waste.
Long story short, I had to navigate to the files in wp-content/plugins/s2member/includes/templates/buttons and modify the paypal-sp-checkout-button.html and the paypal-checkout-button.html files. If you take a close look, the bottom of the file shows the following (I emboldened the part that you should add):
<input style=”display: block; margin: 0 auto;” type=”image” alt=”PayPal速” style=”border:0;” src=”https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_xpressCheckout.gif” />
Once I added that the button showed up dead center, right where I needed it to.
